At the dawn of a new year, amid songs of praise, heartfelt prayers, and an outpouring of love, High Chief Taofeek Abayomi Olanrewaju Bashorun—the inimitable LARRYBASH—celebrated another milestone in a life devoted to service, integrity, and the advancement of humanity, tradition, and his cherished Ado-Odo/Ota community. This was more than a birthday; it was a celebration of a life that inspires, uplifts, and transforms.
From the earliest hours, the people of Ado-Odo/Ota rose in unison to honor their leader. Voices joined in gratitude, celebrating his generosity, humility, and unwavering commitment to the growth and prosperity of the land. To them, LARRYBASH is more than the Seriki of Ota Kingdom—he is a beacon of hope, a steadfast servant of the people, and a visionary whose actions uplift communities and illuminate pathways to progress.
The festivities became a legendary display of unity and joy. On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, an all-white surprise celebration at Okede Square, Ota, Ogun State, brought together community champions from all walks of life—friends, allies, and well-wishers dancing, sharing, and giving testimony to a life of purpose. The atmosphere radiated solidarity, love, and admiration, sending a powerful message of communal strength and collaboration.
Extending beyond Ota, the day was crowned by visits from revered leaders. His Royal Majesty Oba Prof. Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Olota of Ota Kingdom, led a distinguished procession of traditional rulers, dignitaries, and visionaries to LARRYBASH’s Lagos home. Likewise, His Royal Majesty Aláyélúwá Oba (Engr.) Isa Abiodun Olakunle Adejuwon Faronbi Shekoni (Mobadenle Arolagbade Alagbeji III), the Osolo of Isolo, visited the Seriki’sIsolo residence—an emblem of respect, unity, and the enduring bonds that strengthen our culture and collective future.
In his reflections, LARRYBASH expressed profound gratitude to God for guidance and strength, and to the people for their trust and support. He recommitted to fostering peace, unity, and progress in Ado-Odo/Ota and beyond. As he steps forward toward new endeavors—including his bid for the Ado-Odo/Ota federal constituency—this celebration affirms that his life is one of dedication, vision, and transformative impact.
Rise, Ado-Odo/Ota! Together with LARRYBASH, we celebrate a leader whose courage, compassion, and commitment ignite hope, build legacies, and chart a future where every community member can thrive. The journey continues, and the era of servant-leadership shines brighter than ever.
