As part of a heartfelt effort to immortalise his passionate and dearly beloved mother, His Royal Highness, Oba Adio Maroof Alagbe, the revered Elegushi of Egushi Ota Awori Kingdom, on Monday 2nd of February, will host a Special Ramadan Lecture alongside the solemn 10th year remembrance of his cherished mother, Late Alhaja Simiat Durotolu Alagbe (Nee Ajibose).
The remembrance is not only a tribute to a mother of virtue and compassion, but a celebration of a life that left an enduring mark on family, faith, and community. It reflects Kabiyesi’s deep gratitude for the values of humility, generosity, and devotion instilled in him by the woman whose legacy continues to inspire his reign.
