As preparations begin for the 2027 elections, one message is becoming clear across Yewa South/Ipokia: any consensus candidate must reflect the will of the grassroots.
Within the APC, stakeholders agree that unity is important—but it must be built on credibility, acceptance, and real connection with the people. Consensus should not be imposed; it must emerge from those who carry the party at the ward and community levels.
Across the constituency, Hon. Fayomi Abraham Ajibola (FAYAB) continues to stand out. His strength lies not in titles or elite backing, but in consistent presence, accessibility, and genuine grassroots engagement.
While the call for the seat to return to Ipokia, particularly Zone C, remains widely supported, fairness must go hand in hand with electability. Representation should not be based on entitlement, but on proven impact, active consultation, and the trust of the people.
This is where FAYAB clearly leads. His track record of engagement, community connection, and visible commitment has earned him broad acceptance among party members and the electorate alike.
At a time when electoral success depends heavily on grassroots mobilization—especially among the youth—the APC must prioritize a candidate who already commands organic support.
For many across Yewa South/Ipokia, the conclusion is straightforward:
FAYAB is not just an option—he is the grassroots choice.
