INTRODUCTION
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government held a strategic Meeting today, Saturday 25th April at the Local Government Secretariat Hall, Ota. The Meeting was well attended by Party Leaders, Elders, Ward Executives, Youths and Women Leaders across the Local Government.
The Stakeholders resolved as follows;
*1. That the APC Stakeholders in Ado-Odo Ota LG unanimously Appreciate His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his magnanimity and Leadership astuteness in ensuring that Ogun West produced the Party’s Gubernatorial Candidate in the Person of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi).
2. Stakeholders expressed Commitment to the Party Supremacy and Unity
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of Ado-Odo/Ota APC Stakeholders to work strictly in line with the Policies, Constitution, and directives of the Party. All Aspirants and members agreed to have absolute faith in the Leadership of the Party at all levels and will maintain discipline and unity ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
3. Support for President Tinubu and Senator Yayi’s 2027 Ambition
Stakeholders pledged their total support and work in unity towards the actualisation of the second-term bid of our Leader, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Furthermore, the Stakeholders resolved to work assiduously for the victory of Distinguished Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (Yayi) as Governor of Ogun State in the 2027 general elections.
4. Position on Consensus and Direct Primaries
The stakeholders unanimously agreed that where Consensus arrangement among Aspirants cannot be achieved, Candidates for various Elective positions shall be Democratically Elected through the option of Direct Primaries as provided in the party’s constitution.
The Stakeholders acknowledged the Aspirants for various Elective Positions through physical appearance with the special cognizance of the four Aspirants for Senatorial Seat
CONCLUSION
The stakeholders concluded by expressing appreciation to the National and State Leadership of the APC for their continued support, guidance, and Leadership direction.
The meeting ended with a renewed pledge of loyalty to the Party and a commitment to deliver Ado-Odo/Ota for all APC Candidates in all the Elections.
