A former aspirant for the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Fayomi Ajibola Abraham, popularly known as Fayab, has congratulated the party’s nine House of Representatives candidates across the three senatorial districts of Ogun State following the submission of their Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) EC9 nomination forms.
Fayab described the successful submission of the nomination forms as a major boost for the APC’s preparations ahead of the forthcoming general election, saying it reflects the party’s unity, organisation, and readiness to seek another electoral mandate from the people of Ogun State.
Speaking after the APC candidates paid a courtesy visit to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun at the Ogun State Government House, Abeokuta, Fayab applauded the candidates for their steadfastness, loyalty, and commitment to the progressive ideals of the ruling party.
The APC chieftain, who contested alongside other aspirants during the party’s primary election for the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, also commended the governorship candidate of the APC in Ogun State, Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola (Yayi), for his unwavering leadership and support towards ensuring the emergence and strengthening of the party’s National Assembly candidates.
He urged all party members to place the collective interest of the APC above personal ambitions, stressing that unity remains the foundation for electoral success.
Fayab particularly congratulated Hon. Taiwo Emmanuel, who emerged as the APC candidate for the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency, describing him as a worthy flag bearer. He declared that the primary election was over and that every loyal party member must now work together to secure victory for the APC.
According to him, he is fully committed to deploying the Fayab Group, his political movement, and grassroots structure across the constituency to mobilise support and ensure the election of Hon. Taiwo Emmanuel.
He also congratulated Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele, the APC candidate for the Ogun West Senatorial District, expressing confidence in his ability to provide effective representation for the district at the National Assembly.
Reaffirming his loyalty to the party, Fayab pledged his total commitment and all available political resources toward the success of the APC governorship candidate, Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola (Yayi), and all candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.
He expressed optimism that with sustained unity, effective mobilisation, and the continued support of the electorate, the APC would record a resounding victory across Ogun State at the polls.
