The recent mega empowerment programme facilitated by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), representing Ogun West Senatorial District, has continued to attract commendation from stakeholders across Ogun State, with many describing the initiative as a significant intervention aimed at strengthening grassroots economic development.
The empowerment programme, which provided farmers, artisans and small-scale entrepreneurs with essential tools, equipment and financial support, is designed to improve productivity, promote self-reliance and stimulate sustainable economic growth across communities in the state.
Speaking after the programme, the Senior Special Assistant to Ogun State Governor, Hon. Kareem Tolani Oyindamola (KTO), lauded Senator Adeola for what he described as a visionary and people-oriented initiative that continues to impact thousands of lives.
According to Oyindamola, Senator Adeola has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the welfare of his constituents through strategic empowerment programmes that create opportunities for economic independence and reduce poverty at the grassroots.
He noted that the senator’s interventions complement the developmental agenda of the Ogun State Government under Governor Dapo Abiodun, adding that the synergy between both leaders is yielding tangible benefits for the people.
“These empowerment programmes are clear evidence of responsive leadership and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people. They are helping to strengthen local businesses, improve agricultural productivity and create sustainable means of livelihood for many families,” he said.
Oyindamola further assured residents that more developmental projects and people-focused programmes would be rolled out as part of ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life across Ogun State.
