It was an evening defined by unity, gratitude, and strong political camaraderie as High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun, popularly known as LarryBash, hosted the executive leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State to a special 2026 Ramadan Iftar at his residence.
The well-attended gathering brought together an array of local government party executives, including the party chairman, secretary, women leader, legal adviser, auditor, among others, all converging in the true spirit of Ramadan to break the fast—an atmosphere rich in faith, unity, and shared political purpose.
Beyond its religious significance, the Iftar served as a strategic platform for party leaders to reflect on the growth of the APC in Ado-Odo/Ota and to acknowledge the impactful contributions of LarryBash to the development of the party within the constituency.
In his remarks, the APC Chairman in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Hon. J.J. Akeran, expressed deep appreciation to party leaders present, with special homage to the revered Olota of Ota, Oba Prof. Abdulkadir Obalanlege, for his continuous support towards the development of Ota Kingdom. Hon. Akeran commended LarryBash for his outstanding initiatives and unwavering dedication to the progress of Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.
“LarryBash is a man of humility, vision, and has convinced the party leadership of his ability for transformative public service when elected to represent Ado-Odo/Ota in the federal House of Representatives. Already, his efforts have brought innovation, visibility, and positive transformation that have strengthened our party structure,” he stated.
He further noted that gatherings like the Ramadan Iftar help deepen relationships among party stakeholders and reinforce unity within the APC.
Also speaking, the APC Women Leader in the local government, Hon. Mrs. Waliat Ogunbiyi, welcomed party faithful and praised LarryBash for his generosity and passion in bringing leaders together during the holy month. She equally applauded the leadership of Hon. Akeran for fostering cohesion within the party, describing LarryBash as a servant leader whose political approach reflects sincerity, humility, and a commitment to empowerment and developmental politics.
“His leadership style embodies dedication to the welfare of the people—qualities essential for sustainable community development and political growth. We will continue to give him all the support needed in his political aspiration,” she said.
In his response, High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun (LarryBash) expressed heartfelt gratitude to party leaders and members for honoring his invitation and for the overwhelming show of support. He extended special appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as well as other party stakeholders for their continued encouragement.
Reaffirming his commitment, LarryBash emphasized that service to the people remains his lifelong passion. “I am deeply grateful for the support and solidarity shown here today. My commitment has always been to serve our people and contribute meaningfully to the development of our constituency,” he stated.
He further assured that if given the opportunity to represent the people, he would work tirelessly to deliver impactful representation and sustainable development.

Prayers were offered for peace, unity, and prosperity in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Ogun State, and Nigeria at large. The gathering concluded in an atmosphere of renewed commitment, unity, and goodwill—reinforcing the shared vision for the progress of the APC and the wellbeing of the people.
