In a defining moment for grassroots political mobilization in Yewa South, Hon. Fayomi Abraham Ajibola (FAYAB) has been formally unveiled as the Patron of CAUCUS 7202, Yewa South Chapter—an influential political movement widely recognized for its strategic role in grassroots coordination, voter engagement, and progressive political alignment across Ogun West.
CAUCUS 7202, a structure with deep roots in political organization and community-based advocacy, has over time evolved into a formidable network known for rallying support for credible leadership, promoting party unity, and driving political awareness at the ward and local government levels. The group’s philosophy centers on inclusiveness, loyalty, and sustained grassroots activation—principles that have continued to shape political outcomes within the region.
The unveiling of FAYAB as Patron took place during a vibrant endorsement programme and special prayer session organized in honour of Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, fondly known as YAYI. The gathering attracted a wide spectrum of party loyalists, grassroots mobilizers, youth leaders, and key stakeholders, all united in their commitment to strengthening political cohesion and development-driven leadership.
The event served not only as a ceremonial recognition but also as a reaffirmation of collective political purpose. Special prayers were offered for the continued success of the Tinubu administration and for Senator Adeola’s impactful representation, reflecting the group’s alignment with progressive governance and developmental politics.
In his acceptance remarks, FAYAB expressed profound gratitude to members of CAUCUS 7202 for the confidence reposed in him, describing the honour as both humbling and demanding.
“This recognition is more than a title—it is a call to greater service and deeper responsibility. CAUCUS 7202 represents the heartbeat of grassroots politics, and I am committed to working with every member to expand our reach, strengthen our unity, and support leadership that prioritizes the welfare of our people,” he stated.
He further emphasized the importance of structured grassroots engagement as the bedrock of sustainable political success, noting that the strength of any political movement lies in its connection with the people at the community level.
Members of CAUCUS 7202, in their remarks, commended FAYAB’s consistent track record of leadership, accessibility, and community development initiatives. They expressed strong confidence that his emergence as Patron would usher in a new phase of strategic mobilization, increased participation, and enhanced coordination ahead of future political activities.
Observers at the event noted that the appointment signals a deliberate effort to consolidate grassroots structures in Yewa South, positioning CAUCUS 7202 as a pivotal force in shaping political narratives and outcomes within Ogun West.
The programme concluded on a high note of unity, renewed energy, and shared vision, underscoring a strengthened alliance between leadership and the grassroots—an alliance expected to play a critical role in the evolving political landscape of the region.
