Stakeholders pledge total support for Ado-Odo/Ota Reps bid
High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun, widely known as Larrybash, has intensified his grassroots political engagements with the commencement of ward joint meetings involving key party operators, as momentum gathers ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the House of Representatives.
The strategic consultation, which kicked off in the Ota State Constituency, is being coordinated across three LCDA blocs—Ota Central (Wards 1, 2, and 3), Atan/Ilogbo/Iju, and Sango/Ijoko—aimed at consolidating support and strengthening party unity at the ward level.
The first phase of the engagement, held at Ijamido Town Hall, witnessed an impressive turnout of party leaders, ward executives, and grassroots mobilizers. The atmosphere reflected growing confidence in Larrybash’s candidacy, as stakeholders used the forum to align strategies and reinforce their collective resolve to ensure his emergence at the primaries.
The meeting quickly evolved into a rallying point for endorsement, with party faithful openly declaring their commitment to delivering victory for Larrybash in both the APC primary and the general election.
Hon. Muka Salako (Ward 3) drew applause when he playfully reintroduced himself as “Mukadaz Salako Bashorun,” symbolizing his full alignment with the aspiration. He described Larrybash as a seasoned, progressive-minded leader with the capacity to secure electoral victory and deliver effective, people-oriented representation for the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.
Echoing similar sentiments, Hon. Monsuru Erubami and Hon. Alhaji Rafiu Bakare Maja (Ward 1), alongside Hon. Dagbure (Ward 2), reaffirmed their unwavering support, stressing that the aspiration reflects the collective interest of the people.
The event also attracted prominent APC figures, including Hon. Waliat Ogunbiyi (Local Government Women Leader), Hon. Tunde Amusa, Hon. Kamoru Aina, Hon. Monsuru Oloyede, Hon. Muritala Odunlami, Hon. Jelili Ajayi, Prince Wale Adenopo, among others—further underscoring the growing coalition backing the aspiration.
In his address, Larrybash expressed heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming show of unity and confidence, assuring supporters that their trust would not be taken for granted.
“I am deeply encouraged by your support, your belief, and your prayers. Your commitment strengthens our resolve. By the grace of God, we shall succeed together, and no effort made in this journey will be wasted,” he stated.
As the ward joint meetings continue across other LCDAs, the wave of endorsements and renewed commitments signals a strengthening grassroots base, positioning the Larrybash aspiration as a formidable force ahead of the APC primaries.
