KTO Movement Backs APC Stakeholders’ Resolutions, Signals Strong Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

In a bold and decisive move that underscores growing political cohesion within Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, the KTO Movement, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Kareem Tolani Oyindamola, has declared its total alignment with the resolutions reached at the recent APC stakeholders’ meeting held on April 25, 2026.
Rising from a strategic consultation shortly after the release of the communiqué, the KTO Movement described the outcome of the stakeholders’ meeting as a clear demonstration of political maturity, unity of purpose, and unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Hon. Oyindamola, speaking on behalf of the movement, commended party leaders for charting a decisive course ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He particularly lauded the leadership of the Ogun State Governor for his inclusive political approach and foresight in ensuring Ogun West’s prominence in the party’s gubernatorial trajectory. According to him, this decision reflects fairness, balance, and a deep understanding of the state’s political dynamics.
Reinforcing the principle of party supremacy, the KTO Movement declared that discipline, loyalty, and collective responsibility must remain the guiding pillars for all party faithful. Hon. Oyindamola stressed that the era demands strategic unity, noting that “the strength of our party lies in our ability to speak with one voice and act with one purpose.”
On the national front, the movement unequivocally endorsed the second-term ambition of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing it as essential for consolidating ongoing reforms and national development. In the same vein, the KTO Movement threw its full political weight behind the gubernatorial aspiration of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), affirming readiness to mobilize massive grassroots support to ensure a resounding victory in 2027.
Addressing the issue of candidate selection, the movement firmly backed the stakeholders’ resolution supporting consensus where possible, while upholding direct primaries as a credible democratic alternative. Hon. Oyindamola emphasized that this position reinforces transparency, inclusiveness, and internal democracy within the party.
