OGUN 2027: ADEOLA CHAMPIONS POLITICS OF INCLUSION, RALLIES APC STAKEHOLDERS FOR TOTAL VICTORY

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (CON), popularly known as Yayi, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, continued his statewide political consultation and reconciliation tour with a strategic meeting of party leaders, chieftains and stakeholders in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, reaffirming his commitment to an inclusive and united APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The gathering, held under the theme “Consultation, Consolidation and Conciliation,” formed part of Senator Adeola’s grassroots engagement strategy designed to strengthen internal cohesion, promote reconciliation among party faithful and consolidate support for the APC across Ogun State. The meeting came against the backdrop of the party’s consensus adoption of Adeola as its governorship candidate and his continued efforts to unite all tendencies within the party through dialogue and consultation. Recent engagements have consistently emphasized reconciliation, inclusiveness and collective ownership of the APC project in Ogun State.
Addressing the stakeholders, Senator Adeola described Ado-Odo/Ota as a political “homeland,” but stressed that no local government or political bloc would be taken for granted in the APC’s quest for total victory at the polls.
He said the party’s success would depend on sustained unity, mutual respect and collective commitment, urging every stakeholder to work tirelessly towards mobilising support from the ward level while placing the overall interest of the APC above personal ambitions.
According to him, the campaign is founded on consultation with all stakeholders, consolidation of the party’s existing structures and reconciliation of every interest group to ensure that no member is left behind.
“Our message remains one of inclusion, unity and collective responsibility. Every leader has a role to play, every ward is important and every member matters. We must remain united and work together to deliver victory for our great party in the coming elections,” Adeola said.
The meeting attracted an impressive array of political leaders, government officials and respected party elders, underscoring the strategic importance of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government in Ogun State politics.

Several speakers at the meeting commended Senator Adeola for sustaining the politics of consultation and reconciliation, describing his leadership approach as one capable of strengthening the APC ahead of the governorship election.
The stakeholders unanimously pledged their commitment to intensifying grassroots mobilisation, strengthening party structures across all wards and ensuring overwhelming electoral victories for APC candidates at every level.
